If there is one house chore that i choose not to do, that would be IRONING! I am not a big fan of the iron and its partner (aka ironing board). And i dread the time when all the laundry has been washed, dried and folded, because i know the next step to that is something that i am not happy about:) I know I can always ask someone else to do the task for me, i have had a few instances where i brought the load of clothes to a laundry shop and ask them to iron it for me. There was one time when I ask someone to come to our apartment and finish a mountain high of clothes! But those 2 options are something that i am not quite proud of myself.
That's why i miss life in Manila, where i have my mum and helpers who will do things for me even if i don't ask. This is the life of being an OFW (overseas filipino worker) and i have been living like this for the past 7 years but to be honest i am still trying to get used to the routine of house chores especially if it requires pressing and folding.
Don't get me wrong, you can ask me to do any chore in the house and I can definitely finish it with flying colours! I enjoy doing things around the house but not ironing in particular. I guess for 2011, this task should be flagged as HIGH PRIORITY!
